DEREK STREET
Derek is the Managing Director of Choice
Business Advantage Pty Ltd, a company specialising in offering business
coaching and consultancy to small and medium businesses.
Choice Business Advantage offers an individualised,
collaborative process that assists business owners in solving
problems, enhancing strategic thinking, improving communication skills
and developing effective and efficient systems and procedures to create
a positive business image and to develop and achieve on-going and long
term goals. Derek Street provides the focus, experience and business
acumen to help business owners turn their business venture into
a thriving, successful operation.
Derek has a wealth of experience accumulated in a career spanning more
than two decades with a large, multi-national company. He worked
his way to the top providing him with a keen insight into roles ranging
from technical areas, entry management and middle management, before
entering senior management with his appointment first as State then as National
Manager.
In his role as National Manager, Derek was called upon to investigate
and isolate the performances of under-achieving departments and improve
their results. This
included, but was not limited to, planning and performance management of both
staff and products, strategic planning, logistics and the implementation, monitoring
and management of budgets. Derek’s work resulted in the establishment
of a ‘satellite store’ concept which became the benchmark for their
establishment around Australia.
Derek’s other achievements include being a member of the team which gained
third place in the company’s Asia-Pacific Competition for Quality (the
highest result Australia has achieved) and in being part of the management team
for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Derek is also very proud to have been appointed Fellow, the highest level ranking, of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM), Australia's largest professional body for managers. AIM is recognised as Australia's largest private provider of management training and consultancy services.
Derek’s depth of experience offers obvious advantages to business owners. He
has an enthusiastic, no-nonsense approach and understands the importance of accountability,
responsibility and honesty. Derek’s passion and desire is to help business
owners create a business that inspires and rewards them, their team and
all who comes into contact with the business.

SAMANTHA STREET
Samantha Street is the Business Manager of Choice Business
Advantage Pty Ltd and working closely with the Managing Director, is
responsible for marketing, administration, and accounts. Samantha has an extensive
background in business, finance and management. She has more than 20 years combined
experience in sales, finance, business development and administration, with a
history of excellent customer service and communication. Her powerful problem-solving
skills coupled with a strong grasp of business and profit-making strategies make
her a great person to work with.
Samantha has several years experience working in a multi-national logistics company
where she sharpened her experience in strategic planning, loss prevention,
crisis management, health and safety, marketing, communications and customer/partner
relationship development. She has also directly provided solid leadership, business
guidance and strategies to a multitude of businesses, large and small, in all
phases and stages of operation and she brings this wealth of experience to her
role as Business Manager for Choice Business Advantage.
Samantha enjoys working with business owners who are ambitious for further success,
whatever their current situation, and who know that there is always another level
to aim for. Samantha creates fun and injects energy and enthusiasm into everything
she does. She loves helping people to achieve their dreams and maximize their
